JOB DESCRIPTION

The Trainer is responsible for delivering engaging training sessions that support Parallon’s healthcare business operations. This includes teaching employees about company policies, compliance requirements, billing and insurance processes, customer service standards, and the use of systems and software. The Trainer works closely with the Learning & Development team to ensure training programs are clear, effective, and aligned with organizational goals.


Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver instructor-led training sessions in classroom and virtual settings.

  • Teach standardized courses on topics such as billing, insurance, compliance, policies, and customer service.

  • Assist other trainers and provide coaching as needed.

  • Track training attendance, employee progress, and skills in a learning management system (LMS).

  • Prepare and share training reports with managers and directors.

  • Support annual training needs assessments to plan future programs.

  • Follow the company’s Code of Conduct and Mission/Values.

  • Perform other related duties as assigned.

  • Learning Technology: Familiarity with learning management systems, virtual training tools, and software like Captivate, PowerPoint, and video/screen capture tools.


Qualifications

  • Minimum 1 year of experience in teaching, training, or classroom facilitation (middle/high school teaching or similar experience preferred).

  • Strong facilitation and presentation skills.

  • Background in healthcare business operations is a plus, but not required.
